Do not use Cialis Professional if:

• you are allergic to any ingredient in Cialis Professional;
• you have severe liver problems or certain hereditary degenerative eye problems (e.g., retinitis pigmentosa);
• you have certain heart problems (e.g., unstable angina, angina during sexual intercourse, severe heart failure, uncontrolled irregular heartbeat), low blood pressure, or uncontrolled high blood pressure;
• you have had a heart attack within the past 90 days or a stroke within the past 6 months;
• you are taking nitrates (e.g., isosorbide, nitroglycerin) in any form (e.g., tablet, capsule, patch, ointment) or nitroprusside;
• you have been advised by your doctor to avoid sexual activity because of heart problems;
• you use certain recreational drugs called poppers (e.g., amyl nitrate, butyl nitrate).

• Cialis Professional may cause dizziness, drowsiness, fainting, or blurred vision. These effects may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain medicines. Use Cialis Professional with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to it.
• Cialis Professional may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting; alcohol, hot weather, exercise, or fever may increase these effects. To prevent them, sit up or stand slowly, especially in the morning. Sit or lie down at the first sign of any of these effects.
• Do not drink large amounts of alcohol (e.g., 5 drinks or more) while you take Cialis Professional. Doing so may increase your risk of dizziness, headache, fast heartbeat, and low blood pressure.
• Do not use other medicines or treatments for erectile dysfunction while you are taking Cialis Professional.
• Cialis Professional does not stop the spread of HIV or other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) to others through sexual contact. Use barrier methods of birth control (e.g., condoms) if you have HIV infection or an STD.
• Cialis Professional will not prevent pregnancy. If your partner may become pregnant and you wish to avoid pregnancy, be sure to use an effective form of birth control.
• Use Cialis Professional with caution in the elderly; they may be more sensitive to its effects.
• Cialis Professional is not recommended for use of children; safety and effectiveness for children have not been confirmed.
• Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Cialis Professional is not approved for use of women. If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Cialis Professional while you are pregnant. It is not known if Cialis Professional can be found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while using Cialis Professional, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.

If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking Cialis Professional and seek emergency medical attention or notify your doctor immediately:

• an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
• chest pain or an irregular heartbeat;
• swelling of the ankles or legs;
• shortness of breath;
• prolonged or severe dizziness;
• a prolonged (lasting longer than 4 hours) or painful erection; or
• dizziness, nausea, or angina (pain, tightness, discomfort, numbness, or tingling in the chest, arms, neck, or jaw).

• flushing;
• mild dizziness;
• headache;
• nasal congestion;
• diarrhea;
• temporary blue tint in vision or other vision abnormalities; or
• itching or a rash.

The efficacy and safety of Cialis Professional for the treatment of erectile dysfunction was assessed in a 6-month study. Men with mild, moderate or severe erectile dysfunction were given Cialis Professional (20 mg) as needed or placebo.

Cialis Professional significantly improved erectile function compared with placebo. At the end of the study, sexual intercourse attempts success rate for those using Cialis Professional was 73.5%. This only refers to the ability to achieve erection and have intercourse, not speaking about other advantages of Cialis Professional.
